We are a family owned and operating recycling company founded in 1971. Founder, William Smith Sr along with his wife Mary Smith, opened their first location in August of 1971 at 215 Throckmorton St, Freehold New Jersey. The original facility in Freehold is still in operation today along with our South Amboy facility located at 6075 Main St, South Amboy New Jersey. William Smith Sr, otherwise known as Bill ventured into the scrap metal world when he was only 5 years old, walking the streets of Newark, NJ with his “little red wagon” collecting metals, papers, and rags. He never dreamed he could build the business that is in place today, now operated by the third generation. Serving you from 2 convenient locations we are cash buyers of scrap metal, electronic scrap, catalytic converters, & junk cars. Our South Amboy facility is open 7 days a week.
We offer the areas highest prices for scrap metal! Being a professional member of ISRI: the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries, we strive to provide the highest level of customer service to all of our customers. Both of our locations are mostly concrete, and are kept “cleaned and detailed” to decrease the chances of any incidents. All of our NTEP certified scales have a digital read-out scale-indicator visible to customer at all times. We're always open to answering customer questions and considering customer suggestions toward our continued growth and success! We aim to serve our customers better everyday.

For large quantities of scrap metal, we offer 20 to 40 cubic yard dumpster service, 50 to 80 cubic yard dump trailer service, flatbed, lowboy, and landoll service, as well as towing services, We have invested countless dollars on analytical equipment to perform on-site testing of hard to identify metals and alloys. Plant dismantling and demolition is available as well.
